As mentioned previously on our blog, dial testing focus groups are popping up all over the networks during the early stages of this election year. Lee Carter of Maslansky & Partners is a frequent guest on Fox News’ daily morning news/talk program Fox & Friends where she provides commentary on the dial testing results from timely political events. But rarely do we get a glimpse of the candidates’ reactions to their own dial testing results. Recently, Fox & Friends asked Donald Trump and Ben Carson for their reactions to what the dial lines revealed about voters’ moment-to-moment opinions to what they are talking about on the campaign trail.
